What have you learned in Humanities'1 for a half semester?

 1. My first impression about the subject was somewhat different to its true meaning. At first, for me the meaning of humanities is that it tackles about the creativity of a person in the field of arts. But as we go through in our discussion, I've learned that humanities is a field of science that studies human cultures. Art is also present in humanities because art is a part of human activities. We may not noticed it but what we do everyday, there's an art on it.

2. in terms of teaching strategy, Ms. Marian uses a miniversity type of teaching. i could say that it is new to me. Miniversity is a small group in which everyone is given a chance to stand in front and report.well, this said strategy gives us more confident to really talk in front of our classmates. aside from that, 5 or more topics will be discuss in just one session because we will be going to report it all together.

3. What have I learned from my classmates? Well, each of them have different characteristics and personality. For the half semester, I've noticed that some of them are friendly and approachable, and some are not. but during our group discussion, they are active and they've share some ideas. We may have different attitudes and came from different departments but the unity and cooperation is there as we've present our respective repotrs.

4. What I've learned from Ms. Marian? Well, actually a lot! Miss Marian is s kind of teacher that really puts the discussion into action. What I mean to say is that, she really wants us to do or to perform the things that she discuss in order for us to experienced it. This, of course will help us and would enhance our knowledge about the subject. Miss Marian gives us an idea that humanities is a part of our lives. It may not be as important compared to our major subjects but we have to give some time to it.
